The Krishen Jit Fund
Creador Foundation proudly supports the Krishen Jit Fund, an initiative that fosters experimental creative work in Malaysia. The fund celebrates original Malaysian art across disciplines and encourages innovative expression.
With grants ranging from RM1,000 to RM20,000, the Krishen Jit Fund has supported 84 projects over 17 years, empowering arts practitioners to explore workshops, residencies, productions, research, writing, and more.
As a committed partner, Creador Foundation champions artistic innovation, amplifies voices, and contributes to the vibrant arts landscape in Malaysia. Together, we nurture creativity and inspire the exploration of new artistic frontiers.
KL-WKND 2021
Creador Foundation was a proud supporter of KL-WKND; an event initialized as part of Cultural Economy Development Agency (CENDANA)’s year-long Art in the City (AITC) programme with a focus to an inclusive platform for the creative talents within and outside Kuala Lumpur.
KL-WKND content was curated to encompass the arts and cultures in various forms; opera, dance, music, visual arts, creative products, food, literature, heritage, nature and more.
In total, over 40 programmes were executed across the 4-day event calendar in various venues across downtown KL and also online.
T4YP @ KLPAC 2019-2021
Creador Foundation supported the KL Performing Art Centre’s (KLPAC) Theatre for Young People (T4YP) from 2019-2021, one of the longest-running English youth theatre training programme in Malaysia.
Driven by the idea that the arts can inspire creative, courageous and confident young people, the programme provides a platform for performing arts enthusiasts aged 16 to 25 to develop their performance skills.
T4YP is a key programme in ensuring that the performing arts scene in Malaysia continues to thrive and grow. Many students who have graduated from the programme go on to have a career in the performing arts.

2021 Flood Disaster Relief
In Dec 2021, Creador Foundation identified through partner schools, 135 families that were affected by the December 2021 floods in Selangor to receive aid. Household items, such as fridges, washing machines, stoves rice cookers were provided alongside Mr. DIY vouchers in order for beneficiaries to purchase any other household items they needed.

2021 COVID-19 Food Aid Relief
In July 2021, Creador Foundation identified 12 organisations that were distributing food aid to communities across Malaysia including Sabah, Sarawak, Perak, Negeri Sembilan and more. Some organisations received one-off support, while some received a monthly commitment for 3 months (August, September, and October 2021)

2021 COVID-19 Medical Equipment Assistance
In Sept 2021, Creador Foundation contributed RM1.77 million in medical equipment to hospitals across Malaysia, aiding the national COVID-19 relief efforts.
This donation included 300 oxygen concentrators, 480 oxygen cylinders, and regulators to support Category 4 Covid-19 patients.
The distribution of this equipment to hospitals in Kelantan, Kedah, Penang, the Klang Valley, and Sabah was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Greater Klang Valley Special Task Force and the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
